Jimmy Mazzy & Friends

This is a podcast presenting traditional jazz, mostly from some sessions recorded in 1988 and 1989 at Ephraim’s, in Sudbury, Massachusetts.  The program is produced by John Kafalas — I recorded the sessions and, after storing the tapes in shoeboxes for 17 years, started the podcast in December of 2006.  Nowadays, you can hear Jimmy Mazzy every Wednesday night at the Colonial Inn in Concord, with a similar band — some of the same musicians, in fact.
